Dynology Corporation Helps USS Intrepid Become an Emergency Operations Center
VIENNA, VA - August 2006 - Dynology Corporation of Vienna, Virginia is assisting the USS Intrepid as it plans for its future use as an emergency operations center, similar to its use on 9-11. Dynology is helping identify high level guidance on desirability, feasibility, and budget requirements; and identifying key agencies that will require integration.
“We are helping develop and set forth the layout, design specifications and architecture of an emergency management operations and training center aboard the Intrepid that will meet the needs of NYPD, and other lead law enforcement and emergency management partners,” said Bill Prugh, Dynology’s Vice President of Operations.
Dynology is providing infrastructure requirements that must be incorporated into the renovation of Pier 86 and the construction of the new south pier in order to meet Emergency Management Operations and Training Center (EMOTC) needs.
Dynology hopes that one day the Intrepid will be the premier training facility and model of best practice for other cities and locations in the US and abroad.
