Dynology Recognized for Engineering Excellence
Tampa, FL - Dynology Vice President Joel Loyd was recognized with a certificate of achievement and agency “coin” by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Chief Information Officer, Grant Schneider. Mr. Schneider is singularly responsible for the $1 billion DIA information technology enterprise including over 3000 IT professionals and 20,000 Intelligence Community customers worldwide. Mr. Loyd was recognized for outstanding support as enterprise lead for the selection, design and implementation of server virtualization technologies.
An Enterprise Technical Team, led by Mr. Loyd evaluated the top providers of server virtualization technologies including VMware, Microsoft, and Xen and provided and data-driven recommendation to implement VMware Virtual Infrastructure 3 across the DIA enterprise. Mr. Loyd designed the virtual architecture and guided it through the DIA approval processes. Leading the initial implementation at the DIA Southeast Regional Service Center, Mr. Loyd’s work resulted in the largest implementation of virtual infrastructure on JWICS.
