Dynology Contracted to Build Virtualized Solution for US SOCOM
Tampa, FL - Dynology was awarded a sub contract under their long time business partner L3 SY/Coleman (now L3 MPRI), supporting a new US Special Operations Command initiative. Dynology provides project management services and coordinates a large, multi-vendor team to plan and execute the implementation of a new facility. Additionally, Dynology is responsible for the design of the IT infrastructure including fielding of classified government networks supporting the facility. Dynology will then provide ongoing operations and maintenance support once the facility is complete.
Dynology was selected due to our unique approach using VMware virtualization technologies to minimize foot print and cost while providing effective disaster recovery. The solution will use a combination of virtualized servers and clients on NetApp storage systems to meet the customer’s requirements efficiently.
Dynology will implement Cisco Unified Communications products to provide voice over IP service to the customers that will work at the new facility. Cisco Unified Communications provides a comprehensive communication and collaboration suite that scales from the smallest implementations to very large enterprises.
